Programme

KIN will be taking over the Arnolfini for a long weekend with a multi-room extravaganza of music, conversations, games, skill-sharing and theatrical explorations, with activist meet-ups, live art and wandering provocateurs. Each of the six rooms has a full programme, and the spaces have been uniquely designed with participation and connection in mind. Please note that capacities are limited for each room, so please arrive early to your chosen sessions to guarantee entry.

    Talk: Become a Craftivist

Sarah Corbett is an author, award-winning campaigner and founder of the global Craftivist Collective. She is also ‘The Activist Whisperer’ weekly columnist for Lush Times and a consultant on her unique ‘gentle protest’ approach to activism that goes beyond craft. Her book “How To Be A Craftivist: the art of gentle protest” is out now.  She grew up in a low-income area of the UK into an activist family and has worked as a professional campaigner for over a decade most recently with Oxfam GB. Come along to Sarah’s talk to learn how craft can be used to successfully change laws, policies, hearts and minds.

Sarah will also be hosting a workshop on Sunday Day – book on and reserve a spot if you want to get making too.
