Programme

KIN will be taking over the Arnolfini for a long weekend with a multi-room extravaganza of music, conversations, games, skill-sharing and theatrical explorations, with activist meet-ups, live art and wandering provocateurs. Each of the six rooms has a full programme, and the spaces have been uniquely designed with participation and connection in mind. Please note that capacities are limited for each room, so please arrive early to your chosen sessions to guarantee entry.

Kid Carpet has a fire in his belly and mischief in his pockets.

Kid Carpet plays catchy, lo-fi, electro-punk, shouty songs with old keyboards, toys, big beats, computers, a sellotaped up broken electric guitar and a DIY attitude. After 15 years and 7 albums Kid Carpet is excited to be gigging in Bristol and bringing a show to the Arnolfini.

Kid Carpet shows are unpredictable. There may be things thrown from the stage, songs about Jesus and Boob Jobs, swearing, mistakes, accidents, plastic guitar solos, stories or even games.

As this is the first Kid Carpet Bristol gig for a couple of years it’s likely to totally kick off.
