KIN will be taking over the Arnolfini for a long weekend with a multi-room extravaganza of music, conversations, games, skill-sharing and theatrical explorations, with activist meet-ups, live art and wandering provocateurs. Each of the six rooms has a full programme, and the spaces have been uniquely designed with participation and connection in mind. Please note that capacities are limited for each room, so please arrive early to your chosen sessions to guarantee entry.

The economy of KIN’s new world order won’t just be robots, robots and robots with us sitting around micro-dosing and gaming on our Universal Basic Incomes. There’ll still be work if we want it — it just won’t plunder what we seek to protect, while concentrating wealth in 0.001% of the population.

This subversive careers advice clinic is for the millions of us who’d like their day job to accelerate the emergence of a new economy built around equality, inclusion and true sustainability (in other words to be part of an economy that doesn’t f**k up the world). Whether you run your own business, work for a giant corporation or have got an idea to start your own business, our panel of unqualified careers advisors will be on hand to turn your day job into something that’ll deliver for people and planet. To make sure we have time to get to your question, problem or idea you can message our panel in advance by tweeting at us, at @aplaceforkin.

Your careers advisors: Chair, Jules Peck (founder Avon Mutual, Real Economy Lab and board member New Economics Foundation), Kate Rich (artist and founder of Feral Trade), Shamash Alidina (founder of Zen for Business, author of Mindfulness for Dummies and co-founder Museum of Happiness) and Samantha Moyo (serial social entrepreneur, most recently with Tamuka and formerly as founding alchemist of Morning Gloryville).
